When our family moved to Missouri about 20 years ago, we never imagined that someday we’d be running a successful business here! In November 2008, on a shoestring budget, we bought an old brick building in Hamilton and started Missouri Star Quilt Company. At first we offered basic quilting supplies and machine quilting services, but business picked up when we started posting tutorials teaching simplified quilting techniques online. To our surprise, Missouri Star became the biggest quilting channel on YouTube! Now we offer the largest selection of precut fabrics in the world. What started out as a family business has grown to include an entire community. We hope you’ll come visit us soon in Quilt Town, USA!

See What Others are Saying

“I recently had my first trip to Missouri Star Quilt Company. I live in Arizona, so I do not get out that way often. I was so amazed at the amount of fabric, the setup of each store, and the friendliness of everyone working there. I received so much information on questions I asked and the helpfulness of personnel who took their time to look up online what I needed for the quilt top I wanted to make in the future. If you are a quilter, be ready when you get there—what a pleasant experience awaits you. Make plans ladies, make plans!”

“Two friends and I just attended a retreat at Missouri Star Quilt Co. What a wonderful time we had and the shopping is to die for! All the people working in the shops were so pleasant and helpful. If it wasn’t in the shop, it was in the warehouse, and they got if for you. You couldn’t be sad or depressed when all you encountered were smiling faces. Will definitely do this again.”

“Such an awesome facility!!! I visited yesterday and found myself totally in awe. I loved going through building after building filled with all kinds of neat fabrics and quilting supplies. A huge “thank you” to your staff for being so friendly and helpful. I also thought the “man lounge” was an awesome idea!!! I’m sure I missed a couple buildings too, so hopefully I can tour those soon too.”
